Which documents does the bank issue?

How do you get the documents?

You obtain the documents from your branch, wet-signed/stamped; some banks can also issue a letter on English/Italian letterhead.

The apostille and certification process

Because a bank document is private, a notary certification and then a District/Provincial Governorate step can be needed for the apostille. Take the document current, have it certified where needed and have the sworn Italian translation made.

What to watch

The balance must meet the consulate’s minimum threshold; a regular account history is preferred over sudden large deposits. The documents must be very current (within the last month).
