The personal data we process

During the quote and service process we process your identity and contact details (name, telephone, email) and the content of the document to be translated. The document content is used only for the purpose of providing the translation service, and for the period needed.

Retention and security

Your documents are stored on 256-bit encrypted infrastructure, and non-disclosure (NDA) agreements are signed with our team. Data is permanently deleted at the end of the statutory retention periods, or on your request.

Your rights under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the Law, you have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to object to its processing, and to be informed about its transfer. You can send your requests to info@tercu.me.

The documents we accept and the delivery formats

There is no complicated process for sending a document: a clear photo, a PDF scan or a Word/Excel file is enough for most jobs. We deliver the output as an e-signed PDF, an editable file or a wet-signed original, by your need.

For jobs that need a notary and apostille, the wet-signed documents are sent by courier; within Ankara, in-person delivery is also possible. For technical documents we deliver preserving the page layout (DTP).

Frequently asked questions

How long is my translated document kept after the job?

Unless there is a legal obligation, it is permanently deleted on your request as soon as the project ends; otherwise it is kept encrypted for the minimum period the legislation requires.

Is my data transferred abroad?

Your translation content is processed only within the scope of performing the service and of legal obligations.
