Distance Sales Agreement

2. Subject

This agreement governs the performance and delivery of the sworn translation service ordered electronically by the Customer, together with the parties’ rights and obligations.

3. Service and Fee

The fee is the amount shown on the calculation screen at the time of ordering and is stated exclusive of VAT; 20% VAT is added at checkout. Prices are calculated in EUR and collected in Turkish lira at the Central Bank (TCMB) daily rate applicable at the moment of payment. Prices are set dynamically according to the exchange rate, current workload and the chosen delivery time.

4. Delivery

Translations are delivered digitally by default (My Account → Deliveries, plus e-mail). Where the Customer selects physical delivery, the wet-signed and sealed original is couriered to the stated address for a shipping fee of 10% of the order value. Estimated delivery times are calculated on a working-day basis and do not constitute a binding undertaking.

5. Right of Withdrawal

As translation is a service personalised to the Customer’s instructions within the meaning of Article 15/1-c of the Distance Contracts Regulation, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised once translation work has begun. Cancellation requests received before work begins are accepted with a full refund.

6. Confidentiality and Personal Data

Uploaded documents are processed solely for the performance of the translation service and are destroyed in accordance with the applicable legislation once the work is complete. See the Privacy Policy for details.

7. Liability

The Office is responsible for the translation’s fidelity to the source text. It cannot be held liable for delays or errors arising from deficiencies or illegibility in the source document. The Customer may review the delivered translation and request corrections within 7 days; corrections are made free of charge.

8. Payment

Payment is made by bank transfer (EFT). An order enters processing once the amount reaches the Office’s account.

9. Disputes

The Consumer Arbitration Committees and the Courts of Ankara have jurisdiction over disputes. By confirming an order, the Customer is deemed to have accepted this agreement.
