What are the activity certificate and the trade registry gazette?
The activity certificate shows that a person/company is actively carrying out commercial activity; the trade registry gazette shows the company’s incorporation, partnership and registration details. They are obtained from the Chamber of Commerce/Industry and the Trade Registry Directorate.
What is it needed for in an Italian application?
It is asked for to show the income source of self-employed or company-owning applicants, and to support the family’s economic situation on a student visa and the DSU/ISEE income calculation. For families without a payslip, it is the core part of the income proof.
Where and how do you get the document?
Obtain the activity certificate from the Chamber of Commerce/Industry you are tied to, and the trade registry gazette from the Trade Registry Directorate or via the Turkey Trade Registry Gazette. For chamber/registry-sourced documents, a notary certification and a Governorate/District Governorate step can be needed for the apostille.
The apostille and sworn-translation process
Take the documents current, complete the notary certification and apostille where needed, then have the sworn Italian translation made. The company title, the field of activity and the registration dates must be preserved exactly in the translation.
What to watch in the sworn translation
It matters that the document shows the current (active) situation and is consistent with income documents (the tax registration certificate, the income tax return). If the partnership structure has changed, present the most current trade registry record.
Our Ankara Kızılay-based office runs the apostille tracking and the notarised sworn Italian translation of your document end to end — no need to visit the office, by courier and e-document. For an exact price, take a free quote from the box on the right.
