Overview

With around 40,000 students, Cattolica teaches in economics, medicine (with the Gemelli hospital in Rome), law, the humanities, education, psychology and political science. It is known for its storied academic tradition and its strong alumni network.

Language of instruction and language conditions

Most programmes are in Italian; some are English. Italian-taught programmes want a B2 language certificate (CILS/CELI) or the university exam, English-taught ones IELTS/TOEFL.

Application for Turkish students

The application is made through the university’s own admission system; for the official procedures in Italy (pre-enrolment, residence, degree recognition) the Universitaly and CIMEA or Dichiarazione di Valore are needed. Tuition fees and scholarships

As a private (foundation) university, the fees are higher than at the state universities; in many programmes the fee is tiered by the family income (ISEE). The university’s own merit and need scholarships provide important support; in some cases the regional DSU provision (housing, etc.) can be drawn on too.
